What is Akaunting?

Akaunting is an open-source accounting system that runs in a web browser. It is used for:

• invoicing
• income and expense overview
• basic accounting for freelancers and small businesses
• client and payment management

👉 Advantage: it's free (open-source) and can be run on your own server via Docker.

What will we need?

PiCloud with Casa OS - see installation in this tutorial.

How to do it

1) Installation

Log into the Casa OS container manager, click on Apps and select Custom install in the top right corner.

Fill in the window as shown in the image below. Instead of 10.0.0.30, enter your own Pi-Cloud IP address! Don't forget the port — Akaunting uses port 7070. Finally, click Install.

After installation, the application should be available in Docker. Verify that you can access the demo by clicking on the application icon. It should redirect you to port 82 and load the welcome screen.

Fill in the initial information and log in.
