8x SSR Relay Board / DIN

In stock

Price: 24,00 € inc. VAT

Arduino compatible module with 8x SSR "High Trigger" relays 2A/230V, including a DIN holder and Dupont cable (8x). We use this board in PiHome projects to control power circuits such as lights, sockets, pumps, etc. It can be controlled using sample sketches in the tutorial How to DIY home automation. 8x2A/230V "High Trigger" relays are connected to Arduino pins. The voltage is supplied from an external DC 5V 40W DIN power source. Depending on the number of controlled outputs, you can place the necessary number of these relays on the DIN rail and connect them to the Arduino. The relays then close the circuit with an installation relays in the power section of the switchboard. For multiphase circuits/devices, use multiphase installation relays. Leave the high-current section to be designed by a power electrician, where revision is of course necessary. We recommend using installation relays such as Hager ERC125S (preffered) or EATON Z-R230/S or multiphase EATON Z-R230/4S.

Tip: We recommend "High Trigger" relays for protective reasons in case the Arduino fails or restart, as all relays will not be activated as in "Low Trigger" modules.

Warning!

To control power circuits, it is necessary to combine this SSR relay with an installation relay in the switchboard! The relay is only up to 2A/230V. It can only directly control low-power-consuming fans or heating heads.

Installation on a DIN rail is possible vertically or horizontally. The final fixation of the DIN pins to the substrate is done with the included superglue. The holder parts are compatible with the LEGO®. There is space for wiring under the board.

Material: PETG | Color: White

Material produced by: Plasty Mladeč®

Created on: iPrusa MK2

Description of material:

The PETG material is essentially the same as the well-known PET material from which PET bottles are made. The letter G, abbreviated PETG, refers to the glycol that is added during the manufacturing process. Glycol modifies the properties of PET to make it less fragile and easier to print. It is a strong and tough material that is characterized by good thermal stability. PETG has mechanical and thermal properties better than ABS and carries PLA printing properties.
