The DS18B20 sensor is a digital thermometer with calibrated accuracy of ±0.5°C and resolution of up to 12 bits. Temperature information is transmitted digitally from the sensor to the Arduino, so there is no distortion of the measured value or change due to interference. The DS18B20 uses a simple 1-Wire communication interface that requires only one wire for data transmission. The temperature range is -55 ÷ +125°C and the resolution is up to ±0.0625°C. In our application, we use it to measure the temperature of the floor in the house.
